Component supplier Precipart has announced an expansion in the UK and Ireland.
The group says that some of its most important strategic accounts are located in the UK and Ireland, where it has had a sales representative stationed for years.
As our business interests in the region have grown, the group reports it made the decision to establish a direct presence in the territory.
The newly formed Precipart Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Precipart Group Ltd. The new office is located in the Oxford Science Park.
According to the firm, customers in the UK and Ireland can expect increased local support and more face-to-face visits with Precipart team members dedicated to servicing their accounts.
A statement on the company’s website said: “With technical sales, engineering, and account management staff just a stone’s throw away, we look forward to forging, nurturing and cementing long term relationships to the benefit of our customers in the medical technology, aerospace and industrial sectors.”
Precipart Ltd. will offer a portfolio of manufacturing technologies including high precision gear solutions, swiss turning, CNC milling, injection moulding (both ceramic and metals), as well as micro springs and stampings. The firm will also bring its micro 3D printing technology to UK and Irish customers.
With the ability to print micro metal components and assemblies to very tight tolerances, this technology has proven to be “quite the game changer”, according to Precipart, particularly during the proof of concept phase where speed to market is critical.
