Medilink UK, a professional membership association and specialist consultancy for the life sciences sector, has signed an agreement with Medical Alley, to support medical device companies in the UK to unlock exciting opportunities in the US market through its Market Access Programme (MAP).
Dr Rashmi Raju, International Manager at Medilink explained: “We are pleased to announce this strategic partnership with Medical Alley as part of Medilink's Market Access programme (MAP), aimed at supporting medical device companies in navigating the complexities of global market access. This collaboration provides participants with invaluable insights into regulatory, reimbursement, and commercial pathways, strengthened by Medical Alley's established MedTech network and expertise. Together, we look forward to fostering innovation, improving patient outcomes, and driving growth within the global healthcare ecosystem.”
The programme will take place over a three-week period, starting on the 17th February 2025. The first week includes online sessions delivered to participating companies in the UK. Week two consists of an online showcase pitch, providing companies with a platform to connect with potential contacts, key partners and valuable resources. Week three concludes the programme with a market visit to Minnesota, USA, where Medical Alley is headquartered.
Through this partnership, Medical Alley Starts — a global venture platform which accelerates the formation and growth of healthcare startups — will deliver a customized U.S. Go-To-Market accelerator program for U.K. MedTech companies through Medilink. This tailored program will equip participants with critical knowledge in areas such as regulatory strategy, reimbursement pathways, market validation, and commercialisation. It also provides direct access to one-on-one connections with leaders and companies across Medical Alley’s extensive network.
Roberta Dressen, Medical Alley President and CEO added: “This partnership exemplifies our commitment to advancing global collaboration and innovation. By working closely with Medilink UK, we are excited to support UK medical device companies in navigating the U.S. market, empowering them to bring transformative technologies to patients worldwide.”
