Minnetronix Medical, a medical technology and operations partner to global medical device companies, has announced that its Minnetronix Medical MindsEye Expandable Port has been selected as the winner of the TEKNE award for best medical technology and devices.
The TEKNE is presented by the Minnesota Technology Association (MnTech) and recognises the top technology companies and products in Minnesota, where Minnetronix is headquartered.
The Minnetronix MindsEye Expandable Port is a minimally invasive, expandable port for use during neurosurgery. The device’s dynamic retraction represents an expandable port designed to facilitate deep brain access in the treatment of stroke, cancer, and other conditions.
Minnetronix is offering the MindsEye Port as a market-ready product, available to medical device companies seeking to expand their product portfolios.
Jeremy Maniak, Minnetronix CEO, said: “Given Minnesota is a global epicentre for the medical device industry, this award is quite meaningful to Minnetronix and our teams. MindsEye is an excellent example of how Minnetronix is bringing value and innovation to our customers and the industry.”
Jeff Tollefson, CEO of MnTech, added: “Congratulations to Minnetronix Medical for this incredible piece of technology that will save lives the world over. We’re excited the judges recognised MindsEye as a major innovation for treating stroke, cancer, and other conditions.”
