Densitron, a supplier of displays, touch-based interfaces and specialised ODM+ product design and development for manufacturers, will exhibit at the international trade fair for medical technology MEDICA 2022 from November 14 to 17 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Densitron will showcase its user interfaces, tactile technology solutions and flagship platform for medical applications - Intelligent Display System (IDS).
Densitron sees the medical sector as one of its largest markets and is bringing a selection of its latest products to MEDICA 2022. The company is highlighting the features and capabilities that have made its solutions popular throughout the medical world. For example, the use of optical binding to improve readability and remove reflections, and the inclusion of industrial components to ensure reliability, durability and availability of parts, presents. Densitron also performs rigorous QC testing to prevent pixel defects, offers full "glove touch" touchscreen operation, and has an antibacterial coating on its touch screens.
Densitron shows the complete range from the popular control surface series “UReady”. MEDICA visitors can also see the latest TFT display with capacitive touch solutions, as well as the HDMI and USB-based products that offer a single-cable connection for power and signals.
The constant demand for immediate physical feedback has made Densitron's offering of Tactile technologies a remarkable success in many fields, including medicine. The popular Tactila Evaluation Kit makes it easier for manufacturers and customers to evaluate knobs and other tactile controls for installation in specific solutions and applications. At MEDICA, the Tactila Evaluation Kit will be part of a complete "Touchnology" demonstration with touch screen, knobs, and buttons.
The newly introduced Haptics module, which is also designed to save users valuable time, is designed for use with medium-sized touch screens. The Haptics module is the latest addition to Densitron's haptic solutions, allowing users to integrate feedback sensations that can then be profiled and located on the display.
The Intelligent Display System (IDS) is Densitron's global flagship solution. At MEDICA, IDS will be showcased via the latest TS10.1, an integrated IDS touchscreen with enhanced graphics and integrations with solutions from camera control partners BirdDog and Polecam.
Chris Goodhall, Densitron's sales & operations director EMEA, said: "We are delighted to be exhibiting at MEDICA 2022 and to be part of such an important event for the global medical device industry. The medical sector has been a significant and growing part of our business for many years with our ability to provide robust, reliable, and user-friendly solutions, that resonate with organisations in the public and private sectors. Our latest developments in tactile products and haptics underline our ability to cover the full spectrum of control requirements, and we look forward to showcasing many of these innovations to MEDICA visitors next month."
