In partnership with XCHG Spaces, the hub will unite entrepreneurs, investors, corporates, healthcare providers, insurers, and academics to help drive the women’s health agenda forwards. Located in central London in the 22 Bishopsgate building, FemTech Hub will offer its community the opportunity to learn, connect and create new projects which accelerate the growth of the sector and improve women’s lives.
The hub will focus on enabling innovation and driving meaningful change in women’s health and wellness by supporting start-ups and connecting founders, investors, and industry leaders.
Katia Lang and Karina Vazirova, FemTech Lab’s co-founders, said: “Unsolved women’s health and wellness challenges are holding back our societal and economic progress. We’re on a mission to change that – and to improve the lives of a billion women worldwide. In today’s digital-first world, we’re committed to establishing and nurturing a physical space and community – which will act as a global hub for FemTech innovation and transformation here in London. With the FemTech market expected to reach $60 billion by 2027, and as discussions around once-taboo issues such as women’s health at work, endometriosis or postpartum depression come to the forefront, our community will act as a catalyst to drive change and progress.”
FemTech Hub members will gain exclusive access to London’s FemTech community. Members will also have access to the XCHG online community, a physical co-working space, health and wellbeing amenities, meeting rooms, and preferred XCHG membership rates – offering many opportunities to connect and bring innovative ideas to life.
The hub will host regular educational webinars, roundtables and events, starting with the launch of FemTech Lab’s fourth start-up cohort today (8th September) as they undergo the accelerator’s Autumn/Winter program. The new cohort will include twelve start-ups in mental health, fertility, sextech and contraception, who will get access to a first-class go-to-market program supported by product, market, finance, and growth experts.
