Isometric Companies, a privately held corporation has announced its new micro moulding division, Isometric Micro Molding.
With this new division, and a total of 60 employees and 33,000 square feet of manufacturing space, Isometric claims to be “the largest medical-focused micro moulder in the U.S serving the intraocular, vascular, neuromodulation, orthopaedic, and drug delivery device markets”.
Isometric Micro Molding will integrate the group’s in-house micro moulding, micro mould fabrication, CT scanning metrology, and micro automation services.
The organisation said that its micro moulding facilities enable worldwide, disruptive technologies and devices for Fortune 500 medical and drug delivery device OEMs.
The new division will combine skills from the micro moulding with micro mould making and micro automation divisions.
Devices such as transdermal patches, sheaths, anchors, capillaries, robotic surgery, and neurovascular implants are some of the microscopic polymer components and sub-assemblies that will be brought to market by Isometric Micro Molding.
